Situated within the beautiful Blairquhan Estate, Wauchope cottage is the ideal retreat for a secluded short break. Surrounded by stunning views of unspoiled Ayrshire countryside, over 200 acres of private woodland, a garden pond and a huge walled garden, this four-bedroom self-catering cottage is newly refurbished and offers all amenities our guests will ever need to make their stay very comfortable and unforgettable.

Wauchope Cottage is one of the conversions from the former Stables Courtyard and has, in 2004, been greatly enlarged and modernised. The cottage has a large living room with comfortable soft seating, a digital TV and adjoining open plan dining room. The fully equipped kitchen has an integral hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave , washing machine and dishwasher. There is also a bathroom (with shower over the bath) downstairs.

Upstairs there are three bedrooms with twin beds, one family bedroom with a double and single bed and a second bathroom with bath and separate shower.

This cottage is located in Maybole. Blairquhan Castle and Crossraguel Abbey are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Belleisle Golf Club and Turnberry Golf Club. Scottish Maritime Museum and Girvan Community Garden are also worth visiting.
