The open plan kitchen with dining area is well-equipped and there are two comfy chairs situated in this area around a warming woodburning stove to ensure the chef in the party can join in the plans for the next days adventures as they prepare a tasty treat. Afterwards, relax in the cosy front sitting room where there is space for everyone in front of the warming open fire and watch your favourite film together. Mountain biking enthusiasts will enjoy testing their skills at nearby Glenlivet, or try a spot of skiing in the winter months at The Lecht Ski Centre, or a spot of fishing on the nearby River Avon. Visit the popular villages of Ballater and Braemar or follow the Malt Whisky Trail and maybe purchase a wee dram to be enjoyed later around the fire. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to nearby Aviemore where snowsports can be enjoyed in the winter months, as well as host of summer activities for all the family. There really is something for everyone from this well-located cottage.
