The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dining seating for six guests, there is also a sitting room with Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of two king-size with en-suite shower rooms, a double, a second-floor double with en-suite bathroom and a family room with double and a single, along with a bathroom and a cloakroom. Outside there is a rear garden with lawn, as well as off-road parking. Within 1.5 miles you will find a shop and within 1.2 miles, a pub and please note that pets are welcome but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Haven is a delightful abode, perfect for a family escape to Cambridgeshire. Town: The charming community of Burwell in Cambridgeshire is situated 10 miles to the northeast of Cambridge and provides quick access to the picturesque Thetford Forest Park. A wide variety of amenities are available in the town, including a bakery, two warm pubs that serve delectable food, a gas station with a convenience shop, a Post Office, a recreation centre, and the Burwell Museum and Windmill, where you can find out more about the history of the hamlet. Additionally, a green park situated on the site of the mediaeval Burwell Castle from the 12th century makes for an interesting location for taking in the surroundings. The thriving city of Cambridge, known for its esteemed university as well as its magnificent selection of colleges, is only a short drive away. One of these institutions features a towering Gothic chapel, and the other dates back to the 16th century and features the Great Gate. There are several excellent museums to choose from, with everything from zoology and huge art collections to exhibits on local history and archaeology.
Located in Cambridge, this cottage is in a rural area. Anglesey Abbey and Abbey Stadium are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Netherhall Manor and National Horseracing Museum. Jubilee Gardens and Mill Road are also worth visiting. Practice your golf swing on a nearby course, or enjoy other activities in the great outdoors, such as hiking, cycling, and rock climbing in the area.
