High spec, recently renovated private guest suite. Children welcome. Walk to the city, colleges, shops, river, parks, pubs, restaurants. Off street parking (OK For Transit Van). Great work space, short drive to many business parks and University sites, 10m taxi to station. Large rooms have lots of natural light. Beautiful large garden with guest table set aside on patio. Local born hosts generally at property ready to help in any way we can.

The Space:
All rooms are recently modernised and decorated to a high standard, and all rooms have lots of natural light. Spacious entrance hall. Large main double bedroom comprising a supersize king. Plenty of space to hang and store your clothes and there are plenty of USB charging points . Next to this main bedroom is a newly created and fully tiled shower room encompassing glazed shower cubicle, and of course WC and sink. Large lounge with high quality sprung (not foam) double mattress sofa bed. The lounge also has TV (with Netflix, free view channels including BBC / ITV etc). In addition there is a bright breakfast room with sink, coffee machine, teapot, kettle, cutlery & crockery and microwave (only for re-heating) It is not permitted prepare food in the breakfast room or use a rice cooker. We also offer a left luggage facility as well as on site parking.

Guest Access:
There is a very large garden with a guest table set aside on the patio, this is the area available to guests. Because there are two ponds, one of which is 1.8m deep it is essential children are supervised at all times whilst on the patio. The parking space is quite specific, we ask that you park as indicated. With advance notice it is ok to park a Transit Van.

The Neighborhood:
This is an upmarket area of private housing, mostly very large detached houses with large gardens. People live in this road because of the proximity to the City, to the West Cambridge University campus and the Cambridge Science Park. Bus stops are available with direct routes to the railway station and Addenbrookes hospital. There are pubs, cafes and restaurants in walking distance.

Getting Around:
Parking is right outside on our driveway for one guest car. (or trade / transit van) Guests (other than trade vans) must pull into the drive and manoeuvre towards the right hand side (past the tree) and park as close to the bushes as possible. As are most of the streets within this distance to the city parking is residents only weekdays at varying times. Near the property this is 09:30 to 15:00 Monday to Friday,

Bus stops for direct journey to the city, railway station and and addenbrookes hospital are just across the road. A taxi to the railway station takes about 8-12 minutes, with a charge of between £8-10. The new OFO rental bikes can often e found nearby, or left nearby after your trip into town.

Other Things to Note:
The road is a route between two main roads so at peak times there is a reasonable amount of traffic. There is a school next door, so at start and end of school day access by car may be obstructed, but is always available. There is also a pelican crossing point near the entrance.

Interaction with Guests:
You will be looked after by our co-host Guy and ourselves. We look forward to as much or as little interaction as you prefer when we are home. If there is anything you need just ask Guy! We are local Cambridge-born hosts readily available as required to give advice and guidance to help you enjoy your trip - or leave you alone to enjoy your visit as you prefer. We Love Cambridge! This apartment is located in Cambridge. Castle Hill and Bridge of Sighs are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cambridge Lakes Golf Course and Girton Golf Club. Christ's Fellows' Gardens and Mill Road are also worth visiting.
