Cwtch has a special charm and the owners have taken particular care over the details, particularly in the design and quality of the furnishings. It’s perfect for relaxing, and with little light pollution, why not just lie in bed and gaze at the stars! Alternatively, you can sit in the arbour enjoying the tranquil rural location with a glass of wine or champagne and if you’re lucky you may see bats, birds of prey and, more often than not, calves or cows in a field close by. If you want somewhere quiet and restful this is your ideal sanctuary.
Bicycle storage is available and one car parking space on site. There are easy links for public transport and electric vehicle charging points approximately 4 miles away. It’s only a 10-minute walk into the centre of Laugharne, where there are some great local eateries and pubs. Take the paths of Eve Myles from ’Keeping Faith’, see where Dylan Thomas lived and wrote, or do in Thomas’s words "llareggub" - if you’re not sure, spell it backwards! So why not come and explore the wonderful beaches, glorious coastal paths, towns and villages of Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire?
Laugharne Castle is on your doorstep, and a couple of the fabulous beaches nearby include Pendine Sands and Ginst Point, with swathes of beautiful sand and fabulous areas for walking, bird watching, cycling, and exploring the deserted beaches that adorn the coastline. The estuary is ideal for wildlife and fishing. There are also three pubs within walking distance, ideal to sample the local fare. Laugharne is the gateway to West Wales perfect for day trips to Pembrokeshire.
