The property offers easy access to numerous outdoor activities and scenic attractions. Guests can enjoy crab fishing off the harbour wall, sea fishing, sailing, and kayaking in nearby New Quay, just 15 minutes away. A dolphin-watching boat trip along the coast is highly recommended, and the Welsh Coast Path is conveniently located for those who enjoy walking or cycling. Additionally, there are lovely inland walks leading to the National Trust’s Llanerchaeron mansion, providing a perfect blend of nature and history.

For those who appreciate scenic drives, the surrounding area features breathtaking routes through the Aeron Valley to Cors Caron Nature Reserve and the Cambrian Mountains, as well as coastal drives to Ynyslas Nature Reserve and the southern edge of Snowdonia National Park, or south towards Pembrokeshire. The accommodation is designed for convenience, with a walk-in shower and a storage room suitable for bikes or outdoor gear. Additionally, there is a small paved area with a BBQ for outdoor relaxation.

Guests will also benefit from a private off-road parking space, making it easy to explore the area. However, it is important to note that significant sea defense work is planned in Aberaeron throughout 2024. For larger groups, Otters’ Holt can be booked in conjunction with the apartment above, Harbour View, which accommodates six guests, offering flexibility for family or friends traveling together.
