About this space
This 1 bed flat with a spiral staircase is situated in a former guest house in the sought-after and lively residential suburb of Hoole, just a 10 minute walk from the train station.
You can easily take a 20 minute walk into town for a night out, or more locally there are many independent bars and restaurants to try.
The space
A beautifully decorated 1 bedroom apartment, centrally located in Hoole. Stylish and cosy, this is a superb property for your Chester stay! Please note that the spiral staircase is quite steep and would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Upstairs there is an open plan living/dining room with an electric fire and smart TV and a beautifully appointed kitchen.
Downstairs you have a lovely bedroom with wrought iron double bed and wardrobe and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Guest access
Chester train station is a 10 minute walk from the property, and the road is well served with buses taking you into town. Being a city, Chester has a number of taxi companies and a trip to the zoo is only a 10 minute drive.
There is free, private parking on site and the property is located within easy walking distance of pubs, coffee shops and convenience stores.
Usual check-in time is after 3pm and check-out is before 11am. If you need a late/early time please ask as we can often accommodate, however a £30 charge will be requested if done without permission as this can cause disruption to our cleaners' schedule.
Also, please be careful with your keys - we don't want to be charging you £100 for lost keys and callouts in the middle of the night!
Other things to note
As the building was formerly a guest house, there is a communal front door and corridors. The flat itself has its own private front door into the living area. As a quirk, it also has a door off the bedroom back into the corridor which remains as a fire-exit.
Although the spiral staircase is not great for those with little ones, we do have a cot and high-chair available. They are not kept on site, so please advise us if you need these for your visit and for a small cost to cover delivery, we can ensure they are provided in time for your arrival.
