As soon as you arrive at Further Harrop Farm you start to relax and marvel at the breathtaking views. Situated in the idyllic Harrop valley in the Peak district, walkers and cyclists will do well to find a better base. Completed to the highest of standards and set in 70 acres of rolling countryside yet only 20mins from Manchester airport and other great transport links. Walks in every direction and the famous Brickstone Road, part of the Tour de Britain right on the doorstep for cyclists.
We have spent the past 4 years lovingly and thoughtfully converting these once traditional stone barns into the luxury living space we have to offer today.
(Also available next door is our 3 bed 'The Cottage' which sleep 5 adults for any larger parties wanting to book both.)
The Nook is a quaint cottage which comfortably accommodates 2 adults.
Beautifully fitted out to the highest standards, it is immaculate, warm and very welcoming.
With it’s upstairs/downstairs layout it means you have lovely views of the countryside bringing in natural light but maintaining your privacy at all times.
Upstairs is a newly fitted Kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric oven and hob, fully equipped with new appliances, cutlery and crockery.
The kitchen features a breakfast bar seated for two and is open plan to a cosy living area with wall mounted TV.
As you sit relaxing you look directly out of a glass door, which provides wonderful natural light and lovely views. This door also leads outside via stone steps that are positioned at the side of the cottage where you will find an outside seating area to enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful area and perhaps even catch a glimpse of the varied wildlife that often visit the farm.
Downstairs is a welcoming double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and dressing table and
off the hallway is a beautiful newly fitted bathroom with wet room shower.
There is also underfloor heating throughout downstairs which means there’s constant warmth when needed.
A welcome hamper will be provided containing essentials of tea, coffee, milk etc and for an additional cost we can provide a bespoke luxury hamper of high quality local produce tailored to each guest.
There is free onsite off road parking and for those cyclists wishing to bring their own bikes we offer a secure lockup and wash off area.
For those who wish to be connected to the outside world you can do so with ease with the benefit of high speed internet.
