Recently used as part of the set /scenery for the new JR Tolkien movie the cottage is set in glorious scenery.

Each bedroom has stunning views and luxurious comfortable Vi-Spring King or Emperor sized beds and all with stylish en-suite bathrooms including a wet room.

Located 2 mins from Peckforton and Bolesworth castle.
We have installed Fibre direct to the premises (FTTP) which provides speeds of over 150MB for streaming etc and there is Sky TV

The Pheasants Nye is in a peaceful private location and a beautiful setting. ~in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty yet within a short drive from historic Chester and local villages .

The area has plenty of country walks, great pubs and restaurants straight from the cottage door , and the North Wales coast is within 30 mins drive. All the local award winning inns accept dogs too.

The Pheasants Nye and has been beautifully converted to retain its original features. The beam work is exposed, and it offers a well designed living space with all the facilities you would expect from luxury accommodation.

The Pheasants Nye offers rustic period charm with 21st century living. There is a digital TV, with Netflix blue tooth docking system for iphones. etc

The Pheasants Nye is well equipped for self catering with many cooking and baking utensils, gas hob and electric oven, microwave, toaster, under counter fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board.

To minimise the provisions you need to bring the following are all provided for your arrival: milk, tea, green or herbal tea, coffee ( Tassimo pods are provided to get you started )and cafetière if you want to bring ground coffee), black pepper, salt and olive oil. You will also find, dustbin liners and all washing up equipment, including dishwasher tablets for the first few days. The wood burner is also set ready to go and there are logs provided for your first fire.

If you want to eat out there are plenty of places locally, many of them listed in the file at the cottage – please do ask me if you want any details in advance. The surrounding area has all the major supermarkets (Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda ) so if you want to arrange an online delivery to arrive ahead of you, tell us your slot and we will receive it for you and make sure all perishables are put in the fridge/freezer.

We also provide loo roll, all towels, tea towels, bed linen a hairdryer in each room and soap at every basin.

Guests are provided with their own very large safe endless garden opening on to fields and there is a south facing very large outside terrace area and plenty of private easily accessed parking. There are sun loungers and deck chairs to enjoy the south facing garden


We also offer the option of a hot tub for guests (with 10 % of profits from the hot tub sales going to a childrens charity.)

Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from the terrace or relax and sink into the Kilim sofa by the wood-burner in the comfortable stylish sitting room

Pets are welcome on request for an additional payment.
