The large garden room, with its spectacular views of the moors and surrounding countryside is the perfect place to sit with a fresh coffee and watch the sunrise over the hills before breakfast, play games with the kids or enjoy a special meal together round the large dining table. Next door is the sitting room, where you can snuggle up in front of the woodburning stove and watch a film or catch up on your favourite box sets.Double doors lead out from the garden room onto a onto a generous patio area with a table and large charcoal grill. By car, the Roman city of York is approximately an hour’s drive to the South with the Yorkshire Dales and Lakes around an hour to the West. The East coast with its many fishing villages and beaches is around a 35 minute drive over spectacular moorland scenery. The Lodge is a homely property, perfect for a delightful stay on the Moors.
