Cuddfan is a delightful, three-storey mid-terrace cottage situated in the heart of the stunning Denbighshire town of Llangollen. Hosting an en-suite bedroom and being within easy reach of an excellent selection of amenities, this property is ideal for those looking for a romantic retreat, or a solo traveller. On arrival, find off-road parking to the rear of the cottage, before stepping inside to begin your holiday. The ground floor is home to an amply-equipped kitchen-diner, offering all the appliances you need to rustle up delicious dinners, as well as a handy dishwasher to make cleaning up a breeze. The dining table can sit 2 or 4 people comfortably. Climbing the stairs, the sitting room awaits you with a sofa and chair in front of a warming woodburning stove; settle in after a day of adventures to warm up and snuggle in to watch a film on the TV. When sleep calls, head up to the top floor to find a well-presented double bedroom with king-sized bed, complete with plenty of storage for your belongings and another TV for those lazy mornings in bed. Wake up with a refreshing shower in the en-suite shower room, before making yourself a hot cup of coffee to enjoy out on the private terrace in the crisp morning air. If you don't fancy cooking, Llangollen has plenty of cafés and restaurants to choose from, notably The Corn Mill, which offers outdoor seating with uninterrupted views of the River Dee. While in the town centre, be sure to visit the famous Llangollen Railway, a traditional steam railway with regular trips up to the picturesque town of Corwen, or if you have energy to burn, why not get your walking boots on and head up the hills to the ruins of Castell Dinas Brân to admire some of the best views in the area. Just a short car journey away is Ty Mawr Country Park; the park is home to a handful of adorable animals to see while wandering the short but sweet path alongside the water and overlooking Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. Travelling further afield you will reach the historic town of Ruthin; lying in the heart of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the town boasts plenty of walking and cycling opportunities to enjoy, along with the authentic Ruthin Indoor Market and Nantclwyd y Dre, Wales' oldest timber framed town house, where you can also explore the pretty gardens. Heading in the opposite direction, the lively city of Chester makes for a wonderful day out, exploring the City Walls, the magnificent Chester Cathedral, and the fantastic and renowned Chester Zoo. Share a memorable North Wales break with your loved one at Cuddfan.
