The Captains Quarters Lodge is the definition of luxury! With modern décor and a country feel, this lodge is equipped to the highest standard to ensure your break is as comfortable and luxurious as possible. The elite home entertainment system consists of a 50” flat screen smart TV with Freeview and DVD player, all the essentials for that cosy night in with the family! The dining area, off the side of the lounge, has high quality dining furniture accommodating up to 6 people. The spacious modern kitchen features high quality equipment including large gas oven and grill, integrated separate fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer combi machine, alongside ample storage space for all your holiday essentials. All 3 bedrooms have quality mattresses and are equipped with SilentNight pillows to help you drift off to a good night’s sleep! The lodge has two twin bedrooms and a master bedroom which features a kingsize bed, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room, plus there is a main bathroom with shower over bath. To the exterior, there is a wrap-around decking area complete with high quality outdoor furniture and your very own sunken outdoor hot tub for that extra luxury touch. The Captains Quarters Lodge offers a perfect setting for enjoying quality family time after a fun-filled day with all the activities the park has to offer. Added extras include towels, allocated parking, a welcome pack, free Wi-Fi and an early check in available from 1pm. Pets not accepted.. At Marine Holiday Park, we offer fun for all the family! Located close to the centre of famous Rhyl, with its 3 miles of golden sandy beaches and exciting attractions, we offer a perfect base to explore all that North Wales has to offer. The park itself hosts a great range of facilities including a superb tropical indoor heated pool ’Shipwreck Bay’, which had a complete refurbishment in 2022.There is also Mermaid Café, which was also refurbished in 2022.

This year we have had our ’Smugglers Cove’ Sports Bar and Mariners Club Entertainment Bar fully refurbished for the 2023 season both of which offer welcoming spaces for the whole family to enjoy. We also offer live entertainment from top-class acts in our Mariners Club, where you can join in the fun or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere! There really is something for everyone! Our amusements arcade, toddler’s outdoor play area, adventure playgrounds and dedicated kids club offer plenty to do for all ages. ’The Shack’ is an entirely outdoor facility allowing your family to enjoy the fresh sea air during your time with us. The Shack comprises a burger bar (Burger Bay) , ice cream parlour (Ice Cream Port) and outdoor bar (Buccaneer Bar).

There are also several outdoor heated beach huts so families can relax whilst enjoying a meal, drink, or simply to watch the children playing. There are also plenty of picnic benches available in this area, so you won’t be short on somewhere to sit and enjoy a burger and ice cream! We have also invested in an outdoor stage area so live music can be played and enjoyed by all the family. We have three outdoor play areas on-site, one of which is our Shipwrecked Adventure Playground! This is in the same location as “The Shack” area. Treasure island, which is focused on toddler age groups, we also have the ’Pirates Cove’ playground which has been placed at the other end of the park so that no matter where you are on the site there will be something to keep kids both big and small entertained.. All special requirements for your holiday MUST be checked with Marine Holiday Park , this is to ensure that your needs can be met. This includes the following:
An accommodation close to the facilities
An accommodation in a quiet area of the park
Parking next to your caravan
There are no wheel chair ramps available - you will need to book a diabled unit.
A group booking that wishes to be allocated close together
If you are having oxygen or mobility aids delivered to the park prior to your arrival
Due to fire regulations prams or pushchairs are not allowed in the club, but you can use a car seat.
This park accepts family parties only.
You will receive a barrier swipe card on arrival (one free per car, per booking) if there is more than 1 car per accommodation there will be a charge of £15 per additional car.
Swimming pool opening times: Peak dates 10am - 5pm, Off Peak dates 12pm - 4pm.
Outdoor hot tubs are only available in the following properties (Marine Lodge, Mayflower Lodge, Captain’s Quarters Lodge, Nelsons Lodge and Swan Lake View Lodge). We can’t guarantee your hot tub will be up to temperature on your first night due to a complete refill. Hot tubs must be vacated by 10pm.

Group Bookings/Party TypesUnfortunately we do not allow stag and hen parties as we are a family orientated park. If you are a single sex party or a large group booking please telephone us to check availability.
Arrival InformationThe parks security barrier operates on an ANPR system and so prior to your arrival please contact the park to provide your registration plate – one free car registration per booking. If you have more than one car per accommodation, there will be a charge of £15 per additional car.

If you have any special requirements, please contact us so we can try and assist. This may include a request to have accommodation close to the facilities, accommodation in a quiet area of the park, parking next to your caravan or any other enquiries. We will always try our best to accommodate however any requests are not guaranteed.
Mobility InformationAll accommodations except the Marine 2 WF have steps. Please contact us if you have any mobility issues, or if you are having oxygen or mobility aids delivered to the park prior to your arrival.

We will be hosting a big screen for the Champions League final on the 1st of June. All park guests are welcome to join us.
We will be hosting the M-Factor , Marines Own talent show on the 28th of May so please sign up and sing to win.
We will be having great kids entertainment from 7 – 9pm every evening which will include dancing, singing and general family fun. After this we will be having the main act from 9pm every night
