Selected by the Observer newspaper as the best self-catering cottage for a 'great outdoors' break in Snowdonia! This former coach house has been lovingly renovated to a high standard. The Laundry is located on the Ffin y Parc estate within 14 acres of its own grounds, including parkland and a Victorian kitchen garden. The cottage is situated close to the Ffin y Parc Country House, art gallery and coffee shop, which serves amazing afternoon teas and lunches and includes a wine bar! It is only 2 miles from Betws-Y-Coed (generally considered the heart of the National Park), and close to some breathtaking mountain walks. This makes The Laundry the perfect retreat for two as a special romantic getaway.
From this location in the Conwy Valley you are spoilt for choice for places to visit. Jump in the car for a scenic drive and you'll discover another beautiful place worth visiting in Beddgelert, a picture-postcard riverside village. Or you can head to the coast where trips to the UNESCO world heritage site of Conwy and the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno offer miles of gorgeous beaches, with so much in terms of things to do and places to eat.
