Barn Cottage is a delightful converted granite barn within the grounds of Kenegie Manor Holiday Park. Set over three floors and sleeping 10, Barn Cottage is great for family get togethers. Enjoying on-site swimming pool and other leisure facilities, plus easy access to Cornwall’s coastal delights and attractions, Barn Cottage makes an idyllic base for a group retreat to this wonderful area. Park up at the foot of the path leading to the courtyard, from which three steps take you to this wonderful stone-built abode to begin your staycation. In the living area you can relax in the comfortable sofas, enjoy the flame-effect electric fire and 43” smart TV, and move to the dining table and chairs for your meals. Double patio doors give you access the rear patio and lawned area. Extending from the living area, the well-equipped kitchen is beautifully appointed with traditional wooden worktops and houses all of the essentials to ensure an enjoyable stay. The nearby dining table provides a lovely spot to gather together and indulge in your culinary delights. Also on the ground floor you will find a twin bedroom and the stair case to the first floor. Here there are: another twin bedroom; the spacious family bathroom with rolltop bath and full size shower; and a sumptuous double bedroom which benefits from its own ensuite facilities. A second staircase leads you to the loft room with its sloped ceilings running the full width of the property. Here there is a double bed, two singles, a sofa and an ensuite shower room. It’s ideal for both families and friends sharing. Take advantage of the fantastic range of facilities resting on your doorstep, where you can make a splash with a dip in the pool, challenge the little ones to a game of tennis, test your swing on the putting green or simply unwind at the end of another day of adventure with a crisp pint and a bite to eat in the Old Forge Restaurant. For a wider choice, venture into the heart of Penzance, renowned as West Cornwall’s biggest foodie hotspot, where you can choose from street food, gastropubs and elegant restaurants to name but a few. While you’re in the area, be sure to pack your bucket and spade and head to the glorious sands of the beach, where you can dip your toes in the waters as the soft waves wash into the shores, lounge with a good book, or feel the sand between your toes with a stroll along the coast towards Marazion. If you’d prefer to stay on land, lace up your walking boots and embark on an adventure along the South West Coast Path as it passes through the town, travelling as far west as Lands End, or simply watch the world go by with a view of St Michaels Mount at Penzance harbour. Indulge in a spot of Cornish afternoon tea with a visit to the quaint tearoom at the National Trust’s Trengwainton Gardens, beautifully adorned with walled gardens, winding woodland paths and a peaceful orchard, or explore the manicured grounds of the Grade II listed Nancealverne House. An unforgettable Cornish adventure awaits you with a stay at Barn Cottage. .
