If you would prefer a little privacy, you can also opt to unwind in the homely snug and unwind in front of the TV on the plush sofa bed. Delight in cooking up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has everything you could need during your stay, including an additional dining area and a handy dishwasher making cleaning up a breeze. When sleep calls, climb the open-tread stairs to the first-floor where you will discover five bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and echoing the high standard furnishings of the rest of the property the first being a king-size with en-suite shower room and dressing room, ideal for getting ready for the day in complete privacy, with balcony seating area overlooking the garden. Before settling down for the evening, enjoy a long soak in the deep bath with your favourite book and let all your muscle aches slip away. Sip your morning coffee in the large, lush garden and enjoy the sounds of nature as you prepare for an evening of fun and barbecuing. Venture down to explore the local village of Millbrook, where you will find a good selection of well-stocked shops, pubs, cafes and a couple of restaurants for when you don’t feel like cooking. Also, there are more restaurants and pubs in Kingsand and Cawsand. Take a leisurely stroll around the Millbrook Dam where you can expect fantastic scenery and a glimpse of the local wildlife. Make a stop at The Byre Gallery in the village centre, where you can expect a warm welcome and beautiful artwork and jewellery which is available to purchase, a wonderful souvenir to remember your trip by. Just a short drive away is the remarkable 16th-century Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park where you can view a wide variety of art, tapestries and porcelain, as well as the picturesque formal grounds. Pack up a picnic and head to the beautiful beach of Whitsand Bay, where you can expect three miles of glorious sand with rock pools speckled along the beach and the Adventure Bay surf school, where you can hire boards, take lessons, or try coasteering, and the historical landmark of Whitsand Bay Fort, which provides spectacular views over the bay. For a wider selection of amenities and attractions, head to the city of Plymouth, which can be accessed via a scenic drive or ferry from the beautiful beaches of Cawsand and Kingsand.
