Penny Liggan is a spacious, self-catering property close to Rock Beach and the Camel Estuary, on the North Cornwall coast. Overlooking the patio, a sitting area set under a glass ceiling is clearly the hub of the home and the ideal space to sit and read, or to chat while the kids run in and out of the garden. A separate living room with large apex windows perfectly frame the view, where you can enjoy a board game or favourite movie as night falls. Take your pick from a super-king-size, and a king-size bedroom, plus two twin bedrooms, all with shared use of two bathrooms. A fifth bedroom with en-suite shower room offers a double bed, set on a mezzanine level (please note: this bedroom has restricted head height). When you’re ready to explore, take the footpath from Penny Liggan to the beach or head to the shops in Rock village; with a butcher, baker, fishmonger, deli, grocery store and clothing shops, you can stock up or indulge in some retail therapy without having to travel too far. Take your pooch for a long walk on Rock's golden beach; walk along the banks of the estuary and soak up the incredible views, or head into the dunes towards Daymer Bay and Polzeath beyond. If you fancy a daytrip, then hop on the foot ferry to Padstow to explore its pretty harbour. If you're feeling energetic then why not try cycling the Camel Trail (a flat cycle trail suitable for all the family), waterskiing, wakeboarding, or even hire a sailing dinghy or stand-up paddle board and hit the water! For dining out there are excellent choices on offer with lots of restaurants and cafes on both sides of the water, and if you stay out late, catch the water taxi home, against a backdrop of twinkling lights for a truly memorable end to the night.
