There is a small general stores right next to the beach, a local pub and in St Merryn (2 miles) a range of shops, including Post Office and baker. Trevose Golf Club (Championship 18 hole & 2 short courses and tennis courts) is 2 miles away. Padstow, a picturesque harbour town with interesting shops and Rick Stein's Seafood and other restaurants, is 5 miles away.
