Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Tresillian is nestled in mid Cornwall, three miles east of Truro. Within the village is a small number of older buildings including a Grade II listed thatched Inn. Set in the Cornish countryside, Tresillian retains a largely rural character, with the advantage of not being too far away from Cornwall's capital. Truro offers independent shops as well as art galleries, bars, restaurants, a cinema and a theatre. Day trips can be had to Falmouth, along the Fal estuary, where its natural harbour and beaches will keep you occupied for hours.
Located in Truro, this cottage is by the sea. Hall for Cornwall and Royal Cornwall Museum are cultural highlights, and travelers looking to shop may want to visit Kingsley Village and Discovery Quay. Consider Performance Centre for a night out or Trelissick Gardens if you're traveling with kids. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with rock climbing, hiking, and cycling nearby.
