We're delighted to welcome Demelza 4 aboard this year! It's a ground-floor apartment, situated below Dem 3, with direct access to the shared garden. It has recently been lovingly refurbished and modernised, and now sleeps four in two bedrooms, making it the perfect apartment for a small family to enjoy a holiday on the Helford River. You'll love the living area with its dual-aspect windows, bringing in plenty of light and sunshine. For chilly autumn or spring evenings, enjoy an invigorating stroll on the beach, and then settle down in front of the wood burner with hot chocolate and a family board game.

Both the beach and the outdoor swimming pool are accessed through separate gates in the garden.

Helford Passage nestles on the banks of the beautiful river Helford, with a sandy beach and direct access to the South West Coastal Path. There’s plenty to do on site including the hire of kayaks or paddle boards, or if you prefer to be in the water, try the heated outdoor swimming pool (open from May 1st until the end of September). The Ferryboat Inn specialises in seafood dishes and holds regular music and quiz nights. The local ferry can take you across to pretty Helford village where you can meander along the shore to explore Daphne Du Maurier’s Frenchman’s Creek. Alternatively relax and enjoy good food at the welcoming Shipwrights Arms in Helford or venture further afield to the Historic Falmouth, rugged Land’s End or the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. All the traditional attractions of a Cornish Holiday such as nearby fishing trips, golf, cycling, horse-riding, seaside fish and chips, coastal walks, art galleries and stunning beaches make this a perfect base for couples or families all year round.

Accommodation:
Entrance through the front door.
Living room with sofas, smart T.V. and wood burner. Dual aspect windows with super garden views. Steps up to dining area with seating for six.
Master bedroom with 5ft King-size bed and smart TV.
Family bathroom - wet room with open shower, basin and WC.
Bedroom 2 with 3ftbunk beds.
Kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge-freezer.

Outside:
Gas barbecue, table and chairs. The lawn, accessed through French doors, is shared with Demelza 1, 2 and 3.

Parking:
Private parking for one car only. For subsequent vehicles, there is a public car park just up the hill, charged at £2 per day.

Additional:

• Included: Bed linen, electricity, oil central heating, Wi-Fi, and towels. Guests are asked to please supply their own beach towels.
  
• Use of shared, outdoor heated pool May 'til September.
• A well-behaved dog is welcome at Demelza 4. There is an additional charge of £30 per, per week.
• Regretfully, no smoking
• No telephone. Mobile signal varies.
• Short Breaks may be available: Please contact the West Cornwall office.
• Local facilities: Beach and Ferry Boat Inn 50 yards. Foot ferry across the Helford Village on site. Local shop selling basics, plus hairdresser, café and Red Lion pub in Mawnan Smith. All facilities in Falmouth 6 miles away.
• Electric vehicles: One electric vehicle charging point. Type 2 socket. £30 set charging fee per booking. Please contact the West Cornwall Office should you require this facility.
