Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Carbis Bay, a seaside community in St Ives, is well known for its stunning stretch of sugar-white sand beach. The beach has a tropical vibe thanks to its turquoise waves and sheltered location, making it ideal for a relaxing day at the beach. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Center, so if sunbathing isn't your thing, why not rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and head out on the water? For a truly luxurious experience, why not book yourself a day at the luxurious hotel, which overlooks the beach and has a lovely terrace from where you can sip your cocktails? Carbis Bay is home to a handful of small businesses and eateries, as well as a fish-and-chip takeaway and a branch line of the railway.
This cottage is located in St Ives. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Marazion Marsh, while St. Ives Theatre and Barbara Hepworth Museum are cultural highlights. St Ives Museum and Paradise Park and JungleBarn are also worth visiting.
