WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. This lodge does not accept pets or smoking. Within 0.6 miles there is a shop and within 0.7 miles there is a pub. Town: Two and a half miles inland from Perranporth, which is located in the heart of Poldark country and the location for Winston Graham's novels set there in the 1930s, is the small Cornish settlement of Goonhavern. Goonhavern is a bustling neighbourhood with a classic inn, village store, garden centre, and playground for kids. The area was formerly renowned for producing the best tin, and it still has abandoned pump houses, mine shafts, and worker cottages as mementos of its illustrious past. Perranporth, a neighbouring town, has a stunning sandy beach that stretches for three miles at low tide and is surrounded by rugged rocks ideal for rock pooling. The beach has lifeguards during the summer and is a well-liked family destination. In 2016, the British National Surfing Championships were held there. The Watering Hole is a distinctive pub located on the sand in the heart of the beach that offers live entertainment, a fantastic ambiance, good food, and an incredible view of the sunset, among a small range of other stores, restaurants, and pubs available in Perranporth. Both the Perranzabuloe Folk Museum and the nearby Blue Hills Museum are highly recommended if you want to learn more about the rich history of this coastal region. Much of the spectacular coastal walks around St Agnes, which is maintained by the National Trust, and the miles of sandy beaches at Crantock and Holywell Bay are farther away. Why not visit the coastal resort of Newquay for a wider variety of nightlife, dining, and attractions? (6 miles) With attractions for every age group and taste, including the well-known Zoo, Waterworld indoor pool, and Blue Reef Aquarium, Newquay is renowned for its top-notch surfing. a wonderful vacation spot with options for everyone. The most southern city in the UK, Truro (9 miles), is a thriving hub of shopping, farmers markets, culture, and spectacular architecture in the middle of Cornwall. The Truro Cathedral is the focal point. The River Fal is also nearby; from the riverbank, you can board a boat for a trip to Falmouth.
