This holiday home is the ideal property for anyone looking to explore Whitby and the North Yorkshire coast. The property is set over two floors, with independent access, an enclosed patio area, and allocated parking.
The Space:
Light streams into the open plan living space from the patio doors which open out to the courtyard. With a luxury, grey velvet sofa and a statement patterned chair, this is the perfect spot to relax with your loved ones. Turn on the flat screen TV to enjoy Freeview channels or lay back with a good book. Beautifully decorated, the living area is complete with a tall plant, light grey rug and botanical wall prints.
Directly behind the living space is the dining area. On trend wicker dining chairs frame the glass table so there is ample room for your party to enjoy meals together. Whether you are making home cooked food in the kitchen or you’re ordering in a takeaway, the dining area allows you to socialise easily with your friends or family.
The modern kitchen is on the right hand side of the open plan space and boasts a sophisticated look. With pale grey cabinets and wooden worktops, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for your self-catering staycation. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. The space is complete with a coffee machine, silverware and cookware.
Head upstairs and you’ll find two spacious bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom boasts a king size bed, a balcony and an ensuite shower room. Beautifully decorated, the space includes a powder grey feature wall and premium furnishings. The glass doors open out onto the balcony so you can let the breeze drift in during the warmer months. The ensuite has a walk in shower, basin and WC.
The second bedroom features a comfy double bed with premium bedding and linens. With a warm colour scheme of dusky pink, grey and gold, there is an instant homely feel. The space is complete with matching bedside tables and a black metal rail to hang your clothes.

Continue along the lively road until you reach the beautiful, blue flag West Cliff Beach which is lined with idyllic beach huts. At the other end of Pier Road, you’ll notice the swing bridge which sits over the River Esk.
Over the bridge, you’ll find yourself on the East bank which is full of narrow medieval streets dotted with boutiques, pubs and even more fish restaurants. Climb the famous 199 steps up to the Church of Saint Mary. You can also discover the renowned ruined Whitby Abbey, which was the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’.
Step outside of Whitby and you’ll uncover a haven of woodland and moorland. Whitby forms part of the North York Moors National Park so it’s the perfect place for long walks.
Getting Around:
The centre of Whitby is a short ten-minute walk from Welton View.
