Set in the grounds of a 17th century manor house, Cornish Cottage is an excellent base for exploring south Cornwall all the year round. Only two miles from Penzance and five miles from St Ives. Decorated and renovated by us to a high standard with a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with single bed and an adult size two-berth bunk bed. Kitchen and diner/lounge. Toilet/shower room. Patio area with grass, own designated parking space right outside. Fully double glazed and centrally heated with new state of the art heating which can be wi-fi controlled by us in the colder seasons to ensure that, when you walk in the door, the cottage is warm and welcoming. This is a quiet site of 11 acres of landscaped grounds with tennis courts and pitch and putt. There is a children's play area. Everything is provided, including bed linen, full size cooker, fridge/freezer, all kitchen utensils, plates, cups, etc. You just need to bring towels and tea towels. We take bookings for any week of the year but facilities on the site close on 31st October and OPEN in 2021 FROM 13th February to 30th October. They include reception to sort any problems and launderette (open all year round), bar/restaurant, heated swimming pool and sauna will be closed from 31st October and OPEN in 2021 FROM 13th February to 30th October. Our only rules are - sorry NO pets and absolutely NO smoking inside.
The cottage has WiFi operated by the site, our cottage No 13 has the benefit of this in which you can use a pay as you go system, just log on to WiFi and follow instructions.
Our cottage is kept at a minimum temperature of 17 degrees all the year round whether occupied or not (raised to 21 degrees 24 hours before you go in) so you won't be met by that cold damp feeling that makes your heart sink when you walk into most holiday cottages in the winter. We like comfort - if you do too, then this is the base for your fantastic south Cornwall holiday.
