Ten miles away is the resort of Bude which has a sandy beach, rockpools and a number of other amenities and attractions, such as shops, cafes, pubs, an indoor swimming pool, castle and golf course. Also in the area are Tamar Lakes for fishing and watersports, walks on the South West Coast Path and lovely seaside villages including thew blue flag beach of Widemouth.
