Oreo's Cottage, St Agnes

Cornwall. Sleeps up to 5

This cosy yet stylish farm cottage stands within the owner’s 20 acres of ground from which there are wonderful views along the coast to St Ives and St Agnes Beacon. It's unique position offers the best of both worlds; a private and peaceful location, as well as the perfect base for exploring. It lies just a short 5 minute walk from the centre of the popular Cornish village of St Agnes and a one mile walk to nearby Chapel Porth, a fabulous National Trust beach with small cafe. A little further afield Trevaunance Cove is lifeguarded in the summer months and is a dogs haven as they are welcome all year round. Perfectly located for a seaside family holiday, this attractive property has two nicely presented bedrooms, one with a double bed and ensuite shower room, and a twin bedded room (with additional pull out bed for a younger child). In the sitting room, comfy sofas face the woodburning stove to give added cosiness on cooler evenings and off season breaks. The spacious and airy design make this traditional cottage feel bright and welcoming. There is also a smart, modern bathroom. Outside you have your very own private enclosed garden with long views to the sea and countryside beyond. St Agnes has everything you need in its bustling village centre including a bakery, coffee shops, butchers, greengrocers and newsagents as well as several good pubs and restaurants for eating out including Driftwood Spars voted one of the Top 50 UK pubs. This area is a spectacular walking region with the Heritage North Coast Path and cliff walks for those wishing to explore on foot. For a change of scenery, the beaches of Perranporth and Porthtowan are close by and for a day trip to enjoy some retail therapy the city of Truro is under 10 miles. Oreo's Cottage is perfect for a family holiday wanting a break by the sea or for couples seeking a year-round base to explore this lovely region.
