Pentewan, Hayle

Cornwall. Sleeps up to 5

Located in the quiet little village of Phillack, just a couple of miles from the beautiful surfing beaches at Hayle, this modern family home offers a fantastic base for those seeking an active holiday. The owner, who has an office just next to the house, has thought of everything you might possibly need during your stay, and the property is very well-equipped. On the ground floor, a lovely sun room – a real bonus and lovely spot for an evening tipple – leads from the garden into the open plan living area with a lounge at one end and a large dining table at the other. Reclining leather sofas and stylish furnishings create a restful area in which to relax at the end of the day. The spacious and beautifully presented kitchen has a gleaming range cooker, plenty of storage and cookbooks, and even a television so that you don't need to miss out on anything whilst preparing dinner! Upstairs, there are three bedrooms; the master with a television and en-suite shower room, another which can be presented as either a twin or king size room, and a single. There is also a family bathroom on this floor. Outside, the enclosed garden is something of a sun-trap, with a patio bordered by pretty plant pots, and outdoor furniture for alfresco dining. When you are ready to explore, Pentewan is just a short stroll from Hayle estuary, a haven for birdlife and a lovely place to go for a walk. Hayle town centre is within walking distance, with its numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also an outdoor swimming pool in Hayle (open during the summer months), as well as a children’s playground and Paradise Park bird and animal sanctuary with its huge indoor soft play centre. Hayle’s glorious beaches are within a couple of miles of Pentewan, ideal for surfing, sunbathing and exploring rock pools and sand dunes.
