Brannel cottage is a delightful terraced cottage, situated between the canal and the river Neet, and a short walk from Bude town centre, Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches - now available for 2023 bookings.
The cottage combines traditional charm with 21st century convenience with a recently fitted kitchen with granite worktops, induction hob and dishwasher, and a wetroom with underfloor heating on the ground floor. The cottage has gas central heating and a delightful courtyard garden with BBQ, table and chairs. There is off street parking for 1 car.
The double, twin and single bedrooms accommodate 5 adults in comfort. A separate sitting room with corner sofa, sofa bed and smart TV offers space for children to play while the main sitting room also has a smart TV.
The dining hall has a farmhouse table and chairs for 6, from which the unusual staircase rises in two directions to the bedrooms and bathroom above. Many guests return year after year to this warm and welcoming cottage
The cottage is deceptively large with a sitting room, dining room, well fitted kitchen and a second sitting room / playroom. The unusual stairs split into two directions and lead to 3 bedrooms - a double (king size bed), a twin room and a small single. There are two bathrooms including a ground floor wetroom. The courtyard garden has a built-in BBQ and patio table and chairs for 6 and there is parking for 1 car via the rear access lane. Pet owners can bring 1 dog on request and for a small extra fee - pets are not allowed in the bedrooms.
Bude is an unspoilt resort on the north Cornish coast set in an area of great natural beauty. Summerleaze and Crooklets beaches are easily accessible on foot and Widmouth beach - popular with surfers, is just 3 miles along the coast. There is also a tide-washed natural swimming pool and beach lifeguards in attendance.
Close by there are public tennis courts, mini-golf, library, restaurants, pubs, a children's playground and a leisure-centre with indoor swimming pool and bowling alley.
There are 4 large supermarkets in the vicinity and the cottage is almost next door to a post-office shop which is open 7 days a week.
