This detached house is in the hamlet of Garras in Cornwall and accommodates six people in four bedrooms.

Banneth is a grand family home built in the traditional style located in a peaceful spot in the small hamlet of Garras, close to pretty river creeks, sandy beaches and rocky coves. Garras is a small hamlet just 5 miles from Helford village and close to other key villages such as Coverack, St. Keverne, Gunwalloe and The Lizard. This charming property makes a superb holiday base for exploring all the magnificent secrets of the rivers and coastline of the area. Banneth offers classic and luxurious accommodation with two double rooms and two single rooms all of which have very pretty outlooks onto the gardens around the house where children can play safely. The living room has an open fire and the dining room a traditional wood burner, perfect for snuggling up when taking an out of season break. With a picturesque and secluded garden the atmosphere is enchanting, and the accommodation is beautifully presented to make any family feel immediately relaxed. Banneth is within walking distance of Mawgan and the local village shop for all essentials, as well as The Ship Inn for great food and real ale. Guests will be able to take advantage of the leisure facilities available at Trelowarren Country Estate which has a Gym, Pool and Tennis courts (charges will apply), all this within a mile walk or drive of the house. There is also the Cornwall Crafts Association at Trelowarren with a variety of events and exhibitions. Local beaches include the sandy Church Cove at Gunwalloe next to the Mullion Golf Course, National Trust's Kynance Cove, Kennack sands and Coverack, all of which are very popular beaches and coves with some spectacular cliff walks and views. The Helford River attracts fascinating wildlife, and at Gweek The National Seal Sanctuary is a must for children and adults alike! For more serious fun, the Flambards Experience at Helston is only minutes away. Banneth is an excellent choice for a break at anytime of year.

Town: Helford is a picturesque village on the south side of the Helford River. Helford is very popular with its thatched cottages, excellent village stores and especially The Shipwrights Arms, right on the edge of the creek with its waterside terrace. Just a short walk away is Frenchman’s Creek, immortalised by Daphne du Maurier. The Helford River Sailing Club is very popular and a regatta is held every August. In the summer a passenger ferry runs to Helford passage, the home of the Ferryboat Inn, and nearby to the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. The wildlife on the Helford River is diverse and a birdwatcher’s paradise.

Located in Helston, this cottage is near theme parks. Bonython Estate Gardens and South West Coast Path Section 26 Trailhead are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit One2Eleven and Flambards.
