Summary:
This beautifully presented detached house is located in one of Falmouth's most prestigious roads. The property is situated in a delightful and quiet area, just a stones throw from everything Falmouth has to offer.
The Space:
Inside, there is a sleek modern kitchen with plenty of mod cons; Dualit kettle and toaster, Nespresso machine, Neff oven and induction hob. A breakfast bar separates the kitchen and dining area, where you'll find a large farmhouse table and scandi chairs, for nights when you just want to cook at home. The spacious living room is perfect for a cosy night in. Find comfortable sofas, a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon prime, BT Sport, iPlayer and more, as well as board games and books to enjoy in front of the log burner. There is also a convenient downstairs WC.
Upstairs, the bedrooms are all generously sized and fitted out with premium furnishings. Two rooms come with king-size beds, wardrobes and drawers, whilst the 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. Exposed wooden floorboards and muted colour tones make the space feel warm, welcoming and homely. These share a modern family bathroom equipped with a shower over the bath. Outside, the garden is a real delight. Relax with a book out on the sofas, enjoy family barbecues and sip on a glass of wine in the evening sun. Bliss. Private parking available for 3 vehicles.

The Neighborhood:
The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac within walking distance to Falmouth's centre. There are plenty of local amenities nearby; Hooked on the Rocks is a brilliant restaurant and pub with superb views of the coastline and you're a stones throw from Rick Stein's fish. Within 10 minutes, you can also walk over to Gyllyngvase Beach where there is a restaurant and cafe right on the beach. There is also a park and play area for kids to enjoy. For walkers, there are beautiful coastal paths along the coastline and over to Pendennis Castle. This historical landmark has 360° views of Falmouth harbour and the sea. The high street is a 5 minute walk away, and has plenty of vibrant cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs. The National Maritime museum is also very close by and a perfect rainy day activity.
The ferry to the traditional fishing village of St Mawes and other areas on the Roseland peninsula can be accessed from the town quay, around 5-10 minutes walk away. This is another wonderful way to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Falmouth. There are also fishing trips available which allow you to keep your catch - most often delicious fresh Mackerel!
Falmouth is also well positioned for exploring some of Cornwall's most popular attractions. The beautiful Lizard coastline can be reached in 30-40 minutes drive time, a recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just 20 minutes drive north are the National Trust run Trelissick Gardens. There are also lots of lovely coastal walks traversing up the estuary from here. Further afield, there is Lands End which - about an hours drive - or popular surfing beaches on the North Coast which can be reached in 30- 40 minutes.
Getting Around:
Given the remote nature of Cornwall, a car is recommended for getting the most out of your stay here. That said, Falmouth has very good transport links with trains running from London Paddington all the way into the town centre. Falmouth Town station is a 1 minute walk from the house, and from here you can hop on for one stop to the end of the line at Falmouth docks or to Penryn in the other direction - a quaint fishing village.
Interaction with Guests:
We will be available via message, email and phone during your stay. Any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
