Summary:
A classic period town house with large living rooms and plenty of space to accommodate up to 6 people. Ideally located for a city break, a base from which to explore Devon and Cornwall, or even for commercial contractors in need of flexible working and living space. Guests will enjoy the fantastic private swimming pool and outdoor entertaining area which has plenty of dining space and sun-loungers. This home is modern, comfortable, and stylish.
The Space:
Our home comprises a large hallway, open plan lounge and dining room, well-equipped kitchen with island, 3 double bedrooms (one en-suite) and a communal bathroom. An additional single put-me-up bed is available - this can be made up in the double bedroom to create a shared bedrooms. Please let us know if you would like this available for your stay, but please note there is an additional laundry fee for using it.
Free on-road parking is available. Fresh linen and soft cotton towels are provided, along with ample clothes storage in each of the bedrooms. There are two small balconies from the lounge and dining room overlooking the swimming pool to the rear and the garden to the front. Please note the swimming pool is not heated but does enjoy a sunny aspect in the afternoons. You will have sole use of the swimming pool during your stay but please be aware that our home is located in a town and there are other buildings that look out over it. Pool towels are available for guest use. Free on street parking.
Guest Access:
You will have the whole property to yourself and there is a self check-in process on arrival. There is a ground floor apartment which is rented - the tenant has their own separate front door and will not need to encroach on your space at any time. They do not have access to the swimming pool. Well behaved dogs are welcome but please note that there is an extra cleaning fee of £25 per pooch.
Getting Around:
Just a 2 minute walk to the local amenities in Stoke, including the bus stops, cafe's, village shops, pubs and takeaways. Alternatively, a 5 minute walk to Devonport Train Station will link you to Plymouth Train Station and the City Centre in one stop.
You will be a 4 minute drive to Devonport Dockyard and less than a 10 minute drive to places of historical interest, including the Barbican, Hoe & Royal William Yard. The Devon Expressway will link you to the surrounding coast and countryside of Devon and Cornwall so that you can easily explore Dartmoor, Rame Head, Whitsand Bay, Burgh Island, Mothercombe Beach… to name but a few!
Other Things to Note:
Please note that there is no lifeguard and guests use the swimming pool (not heated) at their own risk. There are steps leading up to the front of the property although there is a hand rail for assistance if required. Please contact us in advance if you are concerned about access.
We have security cameras in place to monitor the entrances to the property whilst it is empty but they will be disabled throughout your stay.

Interaction with Guests:
You will have the whole property to yourselves - Roost Property Management look after our guests for us.
This vacation home is located in Plymouth. Elizabethan House and Royal Citadel are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Torpoint Ferry and South West Coast Path Section 36 Trailhead. National Marine Aquarium and National Maritime Aquarium are also worth visiting.
