LOCATION

In an incredibly sought-after location, An Chy Gwyn is nestled into the sleepy coastal village of Porthcurno. The beach really is a paradise and you’re perfectly positioned and can wander down there in a matter of minutes.

Famously known for the Minack Theatre, Porthcurno is home to this entirely unique open-air theatre that’s perched up on the cliffs. With only the breathtaking and ever-changing view of the Atlantic Ocean as its backdrop, this is a truly special spot. From the beach you can even climb up the steps and rocks built into the cliff side, for an amazing panoramic view of the coastline.

Located away from it all but only a short journey to some of the best the Far West of Cornwall has to offer, you’re only 10 minutes by car to the amazing Sennen and Gwenver beaches or 15 minutes to Newlyn harbour for some of the freshest seafood there is.

LIVING

The whole living area has been carefully thought out with pieces of furniture selected to complement each other. The open plan living room with its Black Forest oak parquet floor is the hub of the home and a social space. Perfect after a day at the beach, pop a bottle in the wine cooler and sink into one of the two large sumptuous sofas or gorgeous leather armchair. The window is ideal for sitting back and admiring the countryside views by day, or in the evening light the wood burner and read a book or snuggle up to a film on the large TV.

COOKING & EATING

The fabulous kitchen is open plan to the living space and is handmade by Treyone of Cornwall, with a quartz worktop supplied by Duke Stone in Helston. This kitchen is any cook’s dream. The appliances are Neff and you will have all the equipment and space needed to cook up a feast. Flooded with natural light it’s a beautifully designed kitchen with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.

The dining area between the kitchen and living space has a table made by the Farmhouse Table Co of Totnes and is perfect for gathering the group for an evening meal or dinner table game.
