Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Launceston, on the boundary of Devon and Cornwall, boasts beautiful architecture, such as some outstanding Georgian buildings in the centre square, and is overlooked by the remnants of a Norman castle perched high above the town. Launceston is close to the beach towns of Bude and Padstow to the north and Plymouth to the south, as well as the beautiful Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor. This is an excellent location for visiting Cornwall and Devon.
Located in Launceston, this cottage is near theme parks and on a lake. Launceston Town Hall and Guildhall and Launceston Castle are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Tamar Valley and Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Launceston Steam Railway and Trethorne Leisure Park are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking, cycling, and rock climbing nearby.
