Chywolow Lodge is a Scandinavian style property in the tiny hamlet of Great Bosullow within 3 miles of Penzance. Far reaching countryside views and an incredible sense of space make this a fabulous rural retreat surrounded by beautiful moorland, Iron Age settlements and mysterious standing stones. Set on a seventy acre farm, the owners run a Rural Centre where you can meet ponies, chickens, chinchillas, chipmunks, rabbits and even tortoises. The lodge has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and can sleep eight people. Ideal for respite for those with limited mobility and wheelchair friendly. There is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area, plus a garden room. Note: Two well-behaved dogs welcome at an additional charge of £20/pet.

Home to the Georgian Theatre built around 1786, the theatre is thought to be one of the oldest Georgian theatres in the country. Golowan Festival is held in Penzance each June a ten day festival with carnivals, music and dance. Penzance is an ideal base for exploring the far south west of Cornwall, with St Ives and Carbis bay a short drive.

Madron Well and Trengwainton Garden are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at South West Coast Path Section 24 Trailhead and Penzance Ferry Terminal. National Dahlia Collection and St Ives Museum are also worth visiting.
