Enjoy a contemporary coastal break with a stay in Higher Close, which offers a range of modern conveniences and style in a superb seaside setting.

The ground floor features a large sitting room where you can sit back on the comfortable sofas and lose yourself in entertainment with the pull-down cinema screen, SkyPlus channels and a range of DVDs. For more traditional pursuits, there's also a selection of board games, and a set of doors open to the terrace for those sunny days.

The dining kitchen makes self-catering a breeze, with its AGA stove, two gas burners, Miele fridge/freezer and dishwasher, with an oak dining table to sit down at for meals and a TV for entertainment.

The ground floor is also home to two of the bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom (containing a large bath and a walk-in shower) and the other with a double bed and en-suite shower room. Both bedrooms have direct access to the outdoor terrace through bi-fold doors.

Also on this floor is a study, a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer and a place to hang wetsuits, and a cloakroom with a WC.

Head up to the first floor and you'll find the two other bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms and their own balcony with superb sea views. One of these bedrooms contains a king-size bed and a dressing room, while the other has two single beds and a range of entertainment options, including a TV, Nintendo Wii console with games, and a Bluetooth speaker.

Higher Close offers some stunning options for enjoying sunny days, with mature gardens including palm trees for that exotic feeling as well as outdoor furniture located on a sun terrace. Dine al fresco with the barbecue and the built-in pizza oven, and wash off the sand from a day at the beach with the outdoor shower. There's even a separate games room with a pool table and a wood-burning stove.

Of course, you'll doubtless want to make plenty of trips to the nearby beach, and you'll have easy access with a gate in the garden leading right to a footpath which will take you there.
