The market town Leyburn 4 miles from village offers great shopping for visitors. As a tributary to the popular Wensleydale, Coverdale is a forgotten gem of the Yorkshire Dales is surrounded by ancient byways and footpaths and brimming with wildlife. Mile House East is the perfect base from which to explore the Dales whether by foot, bike or car. An extensive network of footpaths can be accessed from the village.
