Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Town: Given that East Looe is Cornwall's second-largest fishing port, the quay area of East Looe is always bustling with activity. This route connects East and West Looe. There are plenty of tourist shops in West Looe, while East Looe has narrow cobbled streets and a beautiful harbour outlook. One of Looe's best views is from Banjo Pier, which can be reached by foot at low tide. Due to its safe shallow swimming and large expanse of sand, Looe Beach is a favourite with families. Hannafore also has a great rock pool area for kids. The mining landscape of Bodmin Moor and the Tamar Valley is part of the World Heritage Site of Cornwall. Some of Bodmin Moor's legends are linked to King Arthur, including Daphne du Maurier's work.

Located in Looe, this cottage is on the beach. Old Guildhall Museum and Gaol and Lanhydrock are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Polperro Model Village and Adrenalin Quarry. Kartworld and Port Eliot House and Gardens are also worth visiting. Fishing offers a great chance to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding, rock climbing, and hiking/biking trails nearby.
