Meadow Cottage is situated in a beautiful countryside location three miles from Bushmills. It is a completely self contained, private two bedroomed annex attached to the owners home with its own large garden area and patio. It has been given a four star rating by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and regularly receives excellent reviews on other websites. Completed to a high specification this little hideaway is an ideal base for exploring the attractions of Northern Irelands beautiful Antrim Coast. With far reaching views across open countryside towards the cliffs of the Giants Causeway, Knocklayde Mountain and the Antrim Hills this is a great little place to get away and relax. The towns of Bushmills, Ballymoney, Coleraine, Portrush and Portstewart with their diverse shops and facilities are all close at hand. Nearby attractions include Dunluce Castle, Giants Causeway and the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. Fantastic beaches can be found at White Rocks’ Portrush, the Strand, Portstewart and White Park Bay, Ballintoy. Also close by are a number of first class golf courses, surfing, equestrian facilities as well as spectacular cliff top paths. The garden area boasts an array of birdlife with Goldfinches, Tree Sparrows,Blue, Great and Coal tits all regular visitors along with occasional visits from Yellowhammers, Bullfinches, RedpollPheasants. Overhead one might spot or hear the resident circling Buzzard. If you’re fortunate enough you may even catch a glimpse of a fox or badger.
