Modern, spacious detached country retreat on picturesque Islandmagee. Set in a large plot with wonderful views overlooking the coast of Scotland. Peaceful and tranquil and with many a passing vessel the scenery is ever changing. Property is set away from the main road and with uninterrupted views over the nearby fields to Scotland. What better way to spend an afternoon on the patio taking in the tranquillity and the scenery that is on offer in front of your eyes. Beautiful beaches within walking distance include the award winning Browns Bay and the picturesque Port Muck with Muck Island nature reserve a few minutes drive away. Access to many activities located near by such as scuba diving, Golf course, horse riding, national trust walks and the new exciting Gobbins Experience are all a short drive away. Other local amenities include a quaint cafe and the best Ice cream served at the renowned Rinkha store.
Guests have access to the whole house and gardens and views!
As we are not around to see you in to the property we offer a self check in using a lockbox with a code to gain access which will be given to guests prior to arrival. There is a house manual for guest use with info on how things work etc hopefully providing everything you need to know to make your stay a pleasant one. However should you have any queries we are always at the end of a phone or e mail but we also have a wonderful neighbour who keeps an eye on the property and will only be too pleased to speak to you in person. At the end of your stay once the door is locked the keys must be placed back in the key safe. We keep in touch with our guests via e mail/text or phone to ensure that you have everything that you need for the duration of your stay.
Children over 7 years are welcome but must be supervised when outdoors as there is a stream running adjacent to the property
There is a 5 day minimum stay.
We have installed WIFI in the property and the password will be given to guests on arrival.
Located in Islandmagee, this vacation home is in a rural area and by the sea. Ballylumford Dolmen and Carrickfergus Castle are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Gobbins and Whitehead Driving Range. Traveling with kids? Consider Whitehead Conservation Area and Carnfunnock Country Park.
