Overlooking the Irish Sea, the property benefits from breathtaking views across to Scotland (16 miles away) and on a clear day the extinct volcano Ailsa Craig some 32 miles away. Wildlife, including: numerous bird species, seals, pods of dolphins/porpoise can often be seen right in front of the property from the comfort of your armchair. There have also been sightings of basking shark and nearby spottings of Orca - killer whales. You’ll be hard pressed to drag yourself away from the lounge picture window.
With off street, secure parking for several cars, the house is perfect for families or a group of friends and is pet friendly too.
The property is a real home from home and is well equipped for a very comfortable holiday including, central heating throughout (controlled by hive), underfloor heating to bathrooms and kitchen, ultrafast broadband with wifi throughout the property, bedding and towels, kitchen utensils and equipment.
Ground Floor
Large entrance hall with sea views to the rear. Seating area alongside the feature fireplace housing a double aspect multi fuel burner. WC off entrance hall and patio doors out onto the terrace with outdoor seating and a hot tub for 8 people with feature lighting and music connection. There is gated access and steps down onto the shingle/pebble beach, where rock pools await at low tide.
To the left, off the entrance hall is the large comfortable living room with full width window over looking the sea. Here you can sit and enjoy the view and spot the abundant wildlife. There is a large widescreen TV with full Sky Q package above the feature/lit fireplace which houses the double aspect multi fuel fire.
Off the living room is a newly renovated games room that is perfect for a fun filled evening with friends and family. Including: Pool table, dart board, arcade machine & bar seating area. TV with full Sky package so you don’t miss any sports events, whilst still maintaining stunning sea views
To the right, off the entrance hall is the well equipped, spacious kitchen. This has underfloor heating and has all modern appliances including American fridge freezer with ice and filtered water supply, washing machine, dishwasher, range cooker with gas hob and electric ovens, a breakfast bar with seating and table to sit and enjoy breakfast.
Through from the kitchen is the large dining room with ample space for 8 people around the dining table.
At the far end of the dining room is a seating area that enjoys the benefit of the sun and offers a sea and garden view. There is a door that leads outside onto another patio area (with seating) and on to the garden and beach beyond. There is an Arctic hut, furnished with throws and reindeer hides and has a central BBQ. Perfect for the chillier evenings or just a great area to gather with friends and family. The garden area is open to the beach/sea and children and pets should be supervised at all times.
There is also a separate utility room with washing machine and dryer, which includes a handy dog washing facility, perfect after a day on the beach or exploring the many nearby walking trails.

There is a ground floor bedroom with super king bed and TV with full Sky Q package. There are views of the garden and sea. There is an en suite bathroom with underfloor heating and a walk in shower, bath and vanity mirror with lighting and shaver point and has a dual aspect overlooking the seafront and the gardens. Off the bedroom is also a dressing room.

To the front of the property and offering a dual aspect, with views of the fields and hills opposite and the gardens/sea from the other. There is a super king bed and TV with full Sky Q package.

Pet friendly
The village of Glenarm has no less than 50 listed buildings, a small marina, a castle and 2 public houses and is just 1.5 miles away.
The village of Ballygally is a mere 3 miles away and has good local amenities including an excellent village store and 2 hotels with excellent bar and restaurants. One of the hotels (Ballygally castle) is home to one of the doors from the Doors of Thrones. Carved from the storm-felled trees at the Dark Hedges. The ten intricate wood-carved doors are hung across Northern Ireland, each telling the story of a Season 6 episode. There is also a long stretch of sandy beach.
The village of Carnlough is 5 miles away and again has good local amenities. There is an excellent village store, various shops, public houses and hotels. There is also the harbour (featured in Game of Thrones) and a long sandy beach.
The Causeway Coastal Road goes for 120 miles from Belfast to Lough Foyle and has been rated among the worlds top 5 road trips.
