Meadow View is a traditional farmhouse which enjoys a rural location near the charming village of Quin and five miles from the town of Ennis, in the heart of County Clare. With a well-presented interior over two floors, Meadow View provides a lovely base for families to call home while exploring this beautiful region of Ireland. After a day of rambling, discover the bright and airy lounge, where you can relax upon the settee whilst the electric fire offers a subtle warmth, and the TV provides entertainment. After building up an appetite, move into the kitchen/diner where you will find a wealth of appliances, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, offering all the necessities for preparing hearty feasts, while the utility houses a washing machine and tumble dryer, ensuring you have everything for a well-equipped holiday! As the night rolls in, venture upstairs where you will discover three bedrooms including two doubles, one with Jack and Jill access to a shower room, along with a pleasant twin which is ideal for children. There is also a ground-floor bathroom with bath and walk-in shower, so you won’t have to worry about queues in the morning! To the exterior of Drim Quin is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and barbecue, perfect for hosting alfresco dining and evening entertainment on a summer’s night. The quaint village of Quin has a small population but boasts a thriving tourist scene, with three country pubs and a bar, plus a supermarket with bakery where you can pick up any essentials and baked goods. Clare’s county town, Ennis hosts a vast range of amenities, as well as a whole host of notable landmarks to discover, including the Ennis Friary and Clare Museum. A short drive will take you to the famous Burren landscape overlooking Galway Bay, where an enjoyable walk can be had at leisure and where the Poet and Nobel prize winner Seamus Heaney visited the Flaggy Shore regularly. The Bunratty Medieval Castle and Folk Park is just a short drive away, and a great day out for all the family, with the famous Durty Nellys pub and restaurant close by. For golf enthusiasts there is the golf links at Lahinch which isn't far from the property. A scenic drive will also take you to Doonbeg International and Ballybunnion. There is also the Adare Manor Golf Club which is a short distance away and will host the 2027 Ryder Cup. Fishing is also available in the area with the River Shannon close by. You could also visit Tulla, a wonderfully traditional town with a great selection of Irish pubs playing live music, or travel to the coast and visit the rugged Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland’s top visitor attractions, where you can admire stunning views from the staggering height of the rock face. Take a trip to the seaside towns of Lahinch and Kilkee which both have superb beaches and walks. The cities of Galway and Limerick have wonderful sightseeing, shopping and high-class restaurants as well as the town of Lisdoonvarna with its Spa Wells which hosts a match-making festival every September with lots of music and craic. However, you choose to spend your time, return to the comfort and charm of Meadow View to prepare for the next adventure.
