A beautiful country farmhouse built in 1841, Cavan House is set just outside the quaint town of Rathfriland, at the foot of the Mourne Mountains; an Area of Outstanding Natural beauty.
Fully refurbished in recent years, this Georgian family home provides spacious luxury self catering accommodation with idyllic rural surroundings, large private garden and beautiful views over the Mourne Mountains, Slieve Gullion & Slieve Croob.
It benefits from all modern features without losing its farm house charm. There is a large luxurious sitting room with an open fire, antique furniture, flat screen TV and DVD player, perfect for relaxing with your feet up.
The traditional kitchen, complete with an Aga cooker is ideal for cooking and enjoying some local produce with family and friends. The large dining room with French doors out to the private patio is the perfect place to celebrate special occasions whether in front of the log stove or a burning barbeque outside.
There are four inviting bedrooms. The large bathroom has a roll top bath, corner shower and is an ideal sanctuary to chill out after a busy day.
Apart from the luxury of inside Cavan House, you have access to the large well kept enclosed garden and tarmac yard. Ideal for kids!
The enclosed Patio area which is also accessible from the Dining Room is a great place to enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun and barbeque with family and friends.
As your host I will be there to meet and greet you on your arrival to Cavan House, and I'm available to call on at any point of your visit. You will be most welcome to our former home and we hope that you will enjoy your stay. You will receive a complimentary welcome food pack on arrival and extra cleaning services are also available during your stay @ £10 per hour if you wish to avail.
