This is the perfect get away from it all, where you can walk to the beach at Millin Bay in less than a minute or enjoy the expansive views from the house out to sea to the Ilse of Mann or to the Mourne Mountains behind. Recently renovated, this spacious house can sleep 8 comfortably with four bedrooms, two double and two twin, one ensuite, a family bathroom and a further shower room. There is plenty of reception space with a well-equipped kitchen and dining room, with enough seating for 8 guests, and a interconnecting reception room. Outside there is plenty of space for car parking and a shed for bikes and water sport equipment. The garden is enclosed and dogs are welcome to stay too.

Millin Bay is ideally located just a short drive from the village of Portaferry which is positioned at the top of the Ards peninsula, on the famous Strangford Loch. There are a number of excellent butchers, bakers and green grocers as well as fresh fish van on a Friday morning. There are also larger supermarkets for large shopping. You will be spoilt for choice for things to do, whether walking on the beach, or nearby National Trust shorelands at Kearny and Ballyquintin or take a drive and explore all that Strangford Loch and the Ards Peninsula has to offer. For those coming from outside Ireland the house is situated just under an hour from Belfast City Airport.


Located in Portaferry, this vacation home is in a rural area and on the waterfront. Down Arts Centre and Down County Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include St. John's Point Lighthouse and Ballynoe Stone Circle. Looking to enjoy an event or a game while in town? See what's happening at Clearsky Adventure Centre or Downpatrick Racecourse. Kayaking and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with mountain biking and cycling nearby.
