Nearby you can visit the famous Kynren, a production showing two thousand years of English history, a popular show amongst tourists not to be missed. Venture into the city of Durham and discover its glorious cathedral along with a plethora of attractions for all ages. Uncover the city's history at the Durham Castle before strolling through the bountiful gardens and grounds. For children and the adventurous type, Beamish Wild offers high rope courses amongst ancient woods for an action-packed day out with the family.
