Just 15 miles away you will find the Weardale hills where there a great number of stunning walks for everyone from the avid hiker to the leisurley strollers and dog walkers. Nearby you can visit the famous Kynren, a production showing two thousand years of English history, a popular show amongst tourists not to be missed. Venture into the city of Durham and discover its glorious cathedral along with a plethora of attractions for all ages. Uncover the city's history at the Durham Castle before strolling through the bountiful gardens and grounds.
