Originally an agricultural building, the barn was sensitively restored and converted in recent years and enjoys an idyllic position at the entrance to this rural village, next door to the church and surrounded by open countryside. Public footpaths - a haven for walkers and country lovers and yet within 4 miles of the market town of Barnard Castle, along with the nearby moorlands, Durham, Weardale and the Lake District. The Dickensian Coaching Inn at Greta Bridge is within walking distance and there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants to be found nearby. Full of character, the barn has a large beamed living/dining room, stone flagged floor with under floor heating, a welcoming wood burning stove (logs provided!) and a modern kitchen area fully equipped with white goods, fridge/freezer, microwave etc, Dual function oven. Two twin-bedrooms share a shower room with w.c and the remaining bedrooms are all en-suite. Separate utility room with washer, tumble dryer, iron & board, clothes dryer and room for muddy boots and wet clothes.
