The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, dining seating for six people and a sitting room with woodburning stove, Smart TV, DVD player and a selection of books, games and DVDs. The bedrooms consist of three super-king-size with zip/link, along with a bathroom and a cloakroom. 6-person private hot tub. Outside there is secure bike storage, a gravelled private pergola area with seating as well as access to sheltered walled courtyard, along with off-road secure parking for two cars. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, and within 0.1 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Catering can be arranged on request. Property provides a welcome pack with freshly baked items. At this point in time, we are unable to support charging of electric vehicles at the property There are multiple charging points at the local supermarket. Sorry no puppies, or dogs under 12 months. Please bring your own capsules for use of the coffee machine. Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. For a getaway that has it all, choose The Back House. It provides various points of interest including the City of Durham to the north, plus Saltburn-by-the-Sea and Saltholme RSPB Reserve, to the east on the coast, fringing the North York Moors. To the south York, Harrogate and Ripon beckon, whilst in the west, the wonderful scenery of the Yorkshire Dales is close by.

This vacation home is located in Darlington. Bowes Museum and National Railway Museum at Shildon are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Walworth Castle Birds of Prey and Sweet Greetings.
