After a busy day exploring the countryside or the famous Wild Atlantic Way, snuggle up on the plush corner sofa while the TV plays and the open fire roars in the background. As the designated chef whips up a tasty meal in the fully-equipped kitchen, plan your itinerary for the trip at the dining table and marvel at the panoramic views over Belleek. Later in the evening head outside with a glass of wine in hand to soak up the last of the sun while watching the boats dock in the marina. When sleep calls choose from one of three bedrooms; there is a double with en-suite bathroom, a twin and a bunk room serviced by a family bathroom. Be sure to get some well-earned rest before another busy day. The centre of Belleek is just a short walk from the cottage and houses a few shops to ease your self-catered stay, The Lemon Tree Coffee house and a few local pubs including The Fiddlestone and The Black Cat Cove which are great for the nights when you don’t fancy cooking. The village is an idyllic spot for riverside walks or boat trips to the nearby town of Enniskillen where you can traverse the historic castle and immerse yourself in local history at its two museums, whilst being a angler’s paradise for salmon, trout and pike fishing. Belleek Pottery is also a must-visit, just a short walk away from Marina House, sitting upon the picturesque bank on the River Eme. The town of Ballyshannon is just a short drive over the border, as is Bundoran with its sandy beaches, favoured by avid surfers, and views over the sea; the kids will be sure to love Waterworld and Bundoran Adventure Park which are also in the town, along with local surfing lessons. Various golf courses are also a short journey away, including Lough Erne resort, a previous host to G8 summit, whilst nature fans can take to Fermanagh Lakelands, by hiring a boat and travelling towards neighbouring villages. Choose 25 Old Station Road as the base for your next Northern Irish adventure.
