Enjoying a lovely position on a quiet private estate just outside the centre of Killorglin, 17 Clover Hill makes a lovely holiday destination for those seeking to explore County Kerry. Boasting a ground-floor bedroom and shower room, 17 Clover Hill is ideal for a variety of groups and can sleep up to five guests in three bedrooms. After parking in your off-road parking space, head in through the front door and find a spacious sitting room to the right of the hallway, with two plush sofas to relax on and a wonderful woodburning stove set within a slate fireplace, with a glimpse through to the dining area in the next room through the duel-facing fireplace. Come together in the kitchen/diner, enjoying the warmth from the fire in the cooler months, as you make use of the excellent appliances within the stylish fitted kitchen, complete with a large American-style fridge/freezer. A utility room houses the washing machine, while patio doors lead out to the lovely enclosed garden where you can dine alfresco on the patio furniture, play games on the lawn with children and pets, and securely store bikes in the lockable shed. A ground-floor double bedroom is perfect for any members of the group who prefer not to tackle the stairs, served by a ground-floor shower room reached via a dressing room, whilst upstairs you can find a further double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a single and a bathroom. The friendly town of Killorglin is a wonderful place to base a stay for the lovely streets lined with colourful houses, welcoming pubs and many shops, with a lovely scenic position next to the River Laune. Enjoy riverside walks and catch sight of the active rowing club practicing, with these salmon-rich waters also being an excellent spot for keen anglers, with the Laune Salmon and Trout Anglers Association welcoming visiting anglers with permits and licenses available. Perhaps the most well-known thing about Killorglin is that it's home to one of Ireland's oldest, longest and most unusual festivals at the start of August, Puck Fair, which entails the tradition of capturing a wild Puck goat and enthroning it on a pedestal, as well as hosting open air concerts, dancing displays and lots more! The town is also a gateway to the Ring of Kerry on the Iveragh Peninsula, offering a wonderful cycling route for keen cyclists to really take in the magnificent scenery of the area. Ireland's highest mountain range, MacGillycuddy's Reeks provides a backdrop to the town, while the beaches of Cromane, Dooks and Rossbeigh are all within easy driving distance as is the Dingle Peninsula. The Killarney National Park is another marvellous place to explore, as is Lough Leane. Discover the wonders of County Kerry from this beautiful holiday home, 17 Clover Hill.
