Sitting on an elevated spot overlooking spectacular mountain and sea views, Lack Cottage is a lovely detached cottage in Annascaul, County Kerry. Sleeping up to eight guests, Lack Cottage is a home-from-home in the beautiful Irish countryside. The property offers convenient off-road parking so you can get settled in with ease; an open-plan sitting and kitchen area greets you at the entrance, complete with two electric recliners and a reclining sofa to watch the Smart TV and put your feet up by the woodburning stove. The kitchen features stunning solid wood cabinets and is well-equipped for cooking up a meal to impress your family and friends, which can be enjoyed in the separate dining area with a view of the misty Kerry mountains. On the ground-floor, you will find the first of four double bedrooms and a cloakroom with a WC and basin, whilst upstairs there are three more double bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite shower room, as well as a shared bathroom with lovely tiling, a free-standing bath and a walk-in power shower; all four bedrooms have rustic wooden double beds and matching storage space to make yourself right at home. Stepping outside of the cottage, you will be surrounded by quiet countryside overlooking the beach. Inch Beach is a famous beach in Ireland and just a short drive from Lack Cottage for a great day out. Dingle is a small port town lying west of the cottage, well-known for its rugged scenery, walking trails and sandy beaches, as well as a number of pubs, restaurants and seafood bars for an evening out. Tralee is another fabulous town to the north, where you can find out about local history in the Kerry County Museum, take the self-guided trails or catch a show at National Folk Theatre Ireland. To the south sits Killarney, a picturesque town on the shores of Lough Leane, which is also a stop on the Ring of Kerry scenic drive and where you can start and finish the 200km Kerry Way walking trail; in the town, you’ll find historic buildings, Killarney National Park and Muckross House and Gardens, all the while surrounded by spectacular countryside. Lack Cottage is a charming location for a peaceful rural escape, where there is a beautiful view at every turn.
