Sperrinview House is a lovely two-storey dwelling with a country cottage feel. Situated on the outskirts of a busy market town ( 5 min walk to Magherafelt), Sperrinview House stands peacefully in a rural setting that affords spectacular views of the Sperrin Mountains, Slieve Gallion Braes and the adjoining countryside. Magherafelt was awarded 2nd best place to live in NI 2021 and affords easy access to the most popular tourist hotspots in the country.

Visit the beautiful beaches of Portstewart, Portrush, Benone, Ballycastle and Downpatrick, or take a drive along the Antrim coast and through the famous Glens of Antrim with spectacular views of the Atlantic and the surrounding mountains, hills and countryside including the Causeway coast and the Dark Hedges (Game of Thrones). Perhaps you would prefer to visit the historic towns of Belfast or Derry for shows, shopping, dining and the Titanic quarters, Sperrinview House is less than an hour's drive to anywhere in NI.

In addition and less than ten mins from the house, you can visit local attractions such as the Seamus Heaney Centre (Poet Laureat) in Bellaghy or play golf at Moyola Golf Club in Castledawson, attend a show at the Burnavon Theatre in Cookstown or visit the multitude of shops, bars, restaurants and parks in Magherafelt.

Whether it's a casual break away with friends, a work stay, a family holiday or a trip home to visit relatives or to attend family reunions and celebrations, Sperrinview House will enable you to do any of those and places you in the middle of one of the most beautiful and popular areas in NI.

We have personally thought through all of the house's amenities and have provided you with all the comforts of home. As a self-catering house, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.

Sperrinview House comfortably sleeps 6 people. The upstairs master double has a full en-suite facility that includes an electric shower. There is also an upstairs twin room and two additional double rooms (one of which is on the ground floor). There is a make-up station with a mirror, seating and a hairdryer in all bedrooms as well as plenty of storage for clothes and personal belongings.

The upstairs family bathroom can be used by all guests and contains a roll-top bath, a walk-in electric shower, a wash-hand basin and a toilet.
There is an additional toilet facility on the ground floor that is directly beside the kitchen, living and dining areas and the downstairs bedroom.

For the perfect family stay, we have provided the following : - travel cot and Moses basket (both with bedding), a baby changing station (complete with a baby bath), a high chair, a booster table chair and a baby bottle sterilising unit. There are safety stair-gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. (All children's items are safely stored when only adults are visiting).

The house is the perfect place to relax during your stay. We invite you to use and enjoy our excellent indoor facilities including a fully-equipped kitchen, separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board and a drying rack. Both the dining room and the kitchen areas have tables and chairs to seat 6 people. The lounge area comfortably seats 6 guests and has a Smart TV. Free WiFi is provided.

We also invite you to use and enjoy our wonderful outdoor facilities including a raised and seated front terrace area with stunning, panoramic views of both the Sperrin Mountains, Slieve Gallion Braes and the surrounding countryside. An additional outdoor relaxation/dining facility is situated on the patio area directly beside the kitchen and equipment includes a gas barbecue and a chimenea. There is a table and seating for 6 people.

During winter or cold spells, you will be snug and warm as the house is centrally heated throughout. The open fire in the living/lounge area can be lit whenever guests choose to do so. Logs and lighting materials are provided during your stay.

During hot weather, the house is cool and well ventilated. For your safety and protection, there are smoke alarms and gas detectors throughout.

There are private parking facilities for 3 cars directly beside the house.

Family pets are welcome. We provide dog bowls and poop bags for your convenience.

Bed linen, towels, welcome pack and starter toiletries are all provided.

Located in Magherafelt, this vacation home is in the mountains. Dungiven Castle and Hill of The O’Neill and Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Antrim Forum Leisure Centre and Massereene Golf Club.
