For further amenities, head to Westport town, only 10 minutes drive away,and hosts plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and cinema.It is only a short walk to the Quay where chill and view the majestic Croagh Patrick mountain as the Atlantic Ocean washes into the bay.You'll also find the local golf club to practise your swing, the Westport Sea Safari, an activity for all of the family, and the stunning Westport House to tour, covering 400-acres of breath-taking countryside and offering Lough views. Round off your break with a stroll across Tourmakeady Pier, enveloping Lough Mask, a hike towards Tourmakeady Waterfall, or head inland to Aasleagh Falls, whilst the National Museum of Ireland - Country Life lies further into the county, showcasing the region's history, or venture north to explore the delights of Wild Nephin National Park.
